The Project

Silver fox is a driving service that specializes in working with insurance companies to aid the elderly with driving, appointments, and basic home care and personal needs. I was asked to help develop a logo mark and color scheme as well as a few flyers and business cards to help them get on their feet and start getting clients.

The ask

They wanted to the logo mark and overall vibe to stand out from the most common driving services. Uber, Lyft, and Taxis were the most common where my client was located so I wanted to make sure Silver Fox’s identity had more depth than it’s competing brands. I styled the logo so the fox resembled roads on a map and I wanted the fox to be postured in a calming position but still looking forward to illustrate movement.

Conclusion

I loved working on this project because I think the service is amazing and have a lot of faith it will do well. The client that hired me to do this told me how they came up with the business idea. This is what they told me.

Client: (i’m paraphrasing here) “I have been driving for Uber and Lyft for a couple of years and one day, I picked up and elderly lady who was very nice. As I was driving her to her destination, we struck up a conversation and a little ways through our discussion, she started balling! She then began telling me about an experience she had earlier in the day where she ordered an Uber and the driver was so mean and rude to her because she needed help getting in and out of the car. This poor lady is old and vulnerable and she deserves to be driven around without the worry of feeling unsafe or bothersome. So…I wanted to create a service that caters to the elderly and gives them the best experience possible.”
